As part of my senior thesis I painted one of three cast models of a 36,000 year-old gray whale mandible which is now on display in the Georgia Aquarium. I also created graphics and illustrations of a Gray whale and the mandible of an extinct Atlantic Gray whale. These illustrations have been used in displays to educate the public on the relatively recent extinction of the Atlantic Gray Whale through the research of Scott Noakes, PhD.
